3 of the best | Wide Leg Trousers

Wide trousers have been everywhere for the last few seasons.

However, this season has seen them get higher with a pleated waist and a tie, to create a 'paper bag' look. They are a great alternative to a skirt in the hot weather, and many border on being a culotte as they are very wide at the bottom.

If you don't think they will suit you but you haven't  tried any yet, have a go. You may be pleasantly surprised!

Here are 3 of the best wide leg trousers -

Cos

These Cos trousers come in black, navy and the olive green pictured here, and are made from a loose, fluid polyester/elastane machine washable fabric which makes them a great everyday basic.

Tibi

These Tibi trousers, from Net-a-Porter, are in an lovely unusual brick coloured cotton-poplin fabric, which makes a change from the usual neutral shades without being full on.

Zara

Yellow is everywhere this summer. If you don't wear a lot of colour, it is often easier to wear it in a trouser. These bright and sunny trousers are from Zara, and made in linen
