A recommendation from an executive coach I was working with prompted me to reach out to Lizzie.
I had reached a point in my career where I was looking to take on more responsibility, and it was suggested that some attention to my personal brand would be transformational while requiring little effort on my part. Looking for other ways to boost my self confidence in the workplace, I decided to give it a try.
The wardrobe session was nothing but eye-opening and liberating. Nicole, my stylist, was friendly, respectful and honest and I took great pleasure in packing all but three or four items of clothing in the ‘charity shop’ pile.
Nicole is a great personal stylist. She explained the styles that would flatter my body shape and those that I should avoid, and she introduced me to the colour palette that would best suit my complexion.
The personal shopping session that followed the week after was even better. Nicole made me feel completely at ease, and the pieces she picked for me were better than I could have imagined. I tried on everything and throughout the day she took time to explain why she had selected certain items for me and what I should look for when I start to hit the shops alone. I bought everything she picked for me, I loved myself in every piece!
I now look at my wardrobe every morning and I enjoy what I see. I know that I can mix and match every item without worrying whether I can carry a certain colour or style.
I am delighted with the result of my style sessions. The impact on my confidence in the workplace has been hugely positive and I feel that my wardrobe is now one part of expressing who I am and what I stand for.
I would recommend the personal styling service LESC offers in a heartbeat. It is difficult to appreciate the full value of this experience until you just go for it. Style consultancy isn’t about self indulgence, it is an investment in yourself and more importantly it is a mechanism for self care.
