Whilst a ‘new you’ is a very fluid concept, and annual reinvention is not necessary to move forward in life, I thought it would be a good time to talk about the first step in my book Look Like The Leader You Are. Reflect.
I have learnt over the years that this step is an important ‘pause’ that helps to understand your current situation and what is needed get to where you want to be.
All of the steps in my book Look Like The Leader You Are hold their own significance and importance, but the often missed, but essential, first step in any ‘new image’ process is to REFLECT.
Creating mood boards is one of the first steps of my process. Pulling pictures of things you really love, without thinking too much about why, means you tap into your subconscious aesthetic preferences and begin to find your real personal style.
