About Lizzie

I am passionate about helping women achieve confidence in their style to reach their goals.

"I focus on style rather than trends and create wardrobes that are understated, stylish and wearable in the real world."

People are surprised when I say that although I have always Loved clothes, I'm not actually ‘into fashion’.

As a teenager in the ’80s I wasn’t to be found leafing through the latest copy of Vogue or following the latest trends. Back then I wouldn’t have even been able to name one of the famous fashion designers! However, I was into my clothes and my image. I dyed my hair from white blond to black, and the colours of the rainbow in between. I wore mostly black, second-hand clothes, which signalled my tribe - I was a Smiths fan and a bit of a goth.

I didn’t know it then, but this was the start of my interest in how we use clothes to tell the world who we are.

Upon leaving school I studied fashion & textiles, where I learned about fashion, designers, and how to design and make clothes.

Shortly after graduating I was 'spotted' by Storm model agency, and spent much of the ’90s working as a fashion model, living in London, Milan and Paris.

I had the privilege of working with the leading fashion photographers of the time, including Rankin, Corinne Day and David Sims shooting for magazines including The Face, ID, Dazed & Confused, Elle and Marie Claire. I modelled for designers including John Galliano, Jasper Conran, Karl Lagerfeld and Issey Miyake.

After a few ‘new career’ wrong turns I started my personal styling business in 2005 and trained in Personal Colour & Style, Corporate Image and Executive Presence.

“I combine my background in fashion, & a talent for shopping well, with an interest in personal & professional development”

I am one of only a handful of UK stylists certified by the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI, FLC) I have featured in The Sunday Times, CNN, The FT. I was interviewed about dressing for work on BBC Radio Business Daily, and you can listen to it here. You can read an interview with me for The Fold here

My book, 'Look Like The Leader You Are; A Seven-Step Style Strategy For Ambitious Women' was published in 2018.

I LOVE my work as a personal brand stylist! I have great fun with my clients, whether they are a member of my Elevate Style Programme or a VIP client.

I have worked with hundreds (thousands if you count my talks and my book readers) of women, spoken in front of countless groups and led workshops helping women discover their personal style and upgrade their personal brand image. It’s still a joy to see how helping my clients find their perfect look not only opens doors but makes them more confident and happier.

“My mission is to help women look great and feel confident, effortlessly.”

As a small business owner myself, I have become increasingly passionate about helping female solopreneurs gain confidence and find an authentic personal brand style.

I offer no-nonsense advice and expertise, creating wearable, stylish wardrobes, and advising on dressing your personal brand with style.

I'm a supporter of Smart Works, a UK wide charity that enables women on low incomes to get a job and become financially independent. It empowers them to succeed in getting a job and move on with their lives by supplying them with an interview outfit and training.

I live in North London, with my husband and Shih Tzu Loki, and in my spare time, I am an enthusiastic allotment plot holder, with a particular passion for growing massive Dahlias.

I would love to help you with your style and image, so please do get in touch!

Now it’s your time to shine.

My Team

in 2015, after 10 years in business, it was time to expand.

I was overbooked and stressed out. I couldn’t find anyone to recommend as there was a lack of personal stylists working specifically with female business owners executives and professionals.

women who want to look stylish in an effortless, not overly trendy, way.

So I went looking, leading me to grow my team to meet the demand.

My amazing senior associates have over 10 years of styling experience and work with my methods and approach. They go above and beyond to deliver a great result to those clients with whom I can't work myself.

Please don’t put it off any longer!
