The focus of my work is enabling women with ambition find a personal style and wardrobe that makes them look good, feel empowered and act with confidence.

I’ve been asked so often for a video on the topic of how to show up professionally on Zoom so I hope this helps! I’m delighted to tell you my five tips for looking good on Zoom.

I get a bit lost in this video and lose count of the five tips I’m giving! But you’ll see me demonstrating how different tops, accessories and makeup can make a real difference to how I look - easy things that will help you stand out for the right reasons and look professional on Zoom!

My five tips are:

1. Pay attention to your lighting, background and camera angle. Make your surroundings as professional looking as you can. I recommend that you invest in a webcam because these give a much brighter, clearer result.

2. Think about what you are wearing on top - the colour and details that you choose will make a difference in subtle and not so subtle ways!

3. Adding some jewellery is a nice touch - it doesn’t need to be much but some discreet earrings or a necklace have a positive impact.

4. Painting your nails and wearing a little lipstick can make a big difference - think about wearing a touch when you want to look a bit more polished - I recommend lipstick with a matte finish.

5. If you wear glasses, make the most of them and think about investing in additional pairs to add interest to your look.
