It’s not very often that I come across a new brand that I immediately know will become a favourite, but the first time I came across Sézane I knew.

I loved the clothes, the models, the imagery, the website, and what they stand for, but as someone who doesn’t like shopping online, I had to wait until they opened their first store in London a couple of months ago to really see if it would be for me.

And luckily it is!

The wonderfully ethical and beautifully stylish Parisian brand says that “Doing things well is good, but it’s not enough.”

Their factories are carefully selected on their expertise but also on their compliance with the strict social and environmental standards they demand, visiting and auditing them regularly to ensure a sustainable, equitable and human relationship is established and maintained.

Their charity initiatives throughout the year see 10% of revenue raised on the 21st of each month donated to DEMAIN, who supports education, access to culture and equal opportunities. You can read more here

But aside from all that, their gorgeous, wearable pieces are elegant, classy, sophisticated and have the understated french chicness that resonates with me.

Here are a few examples from the AW18 collection

Sézane describes their “L’Appartment Londres” as “A touch of Paris right in the centre of Notting Hill!” and I couldn’t agree more. They opened this September and I highly recommend you pop along to see the collection in person.

They are currently offering (until 16th December 2018) free P&P and free returns.

I have found their sizes ‘true to size’, and the clothes of great quality and in lovely fabrics, so if you can’t get to the store it’s worth a shot buying online (and it’s not often you will hear me say that! :))
